John W. Faulkner

John W. Faulkner is the Director of the Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), Columbus, Ohio.  Prior to his assignment as the Director of DISCO on June 28, 1992, he was the Assistant Deputy Director of Clearances and International Programs at the Headquarters of the Defense Security Service (DSS) in Alexandria, Virginia.  Before going to DSS Headquarters, he served as an Industrial Security Representative and as Chief of the Detroit Industrial Security Field Office.  He has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctorate from the Detroit College of Law.  He is an inactive member of the State Bar of Michigan.
