Patricia B. Tomaselli

As Director of Security, Electronic Systems, Northrop Grumman Corporation,
Ms. Tomaselli is responsible for all sector security operations which includes programs for physical security; badging and clearances; information security to include classified and unclassified computer security; international security; DoD, foreign government and special programs security; investigations and executive protection and security compliance.

Ms. Tomaselli joined the corporation in 1974 as a Security Officer for the Westinghouse Motor and Control Division in Buffalo New York. She transferred to the corporation’s Research and Development Center in Pittsburgh in 1978 as their Supervisor of Security and Safety, and provided support to the Westinghouse Corporate Security Office.

In 1984, she was appointed the Manager of Corporate Security and Safety for Group W, Westinghouse’s Broadcasting and Cable Company where she was responsible for the security, safety and worker’s compensation programs at 200 cable television facilities, 6 Television stations and 15 Radio stations.

After the sale of the Corporation’s cable television business in 1987, she moved to the Baltimore Operations and was later appointed the Manager of Security and Safety for the Defense Electronics Systems Company (DESCO.) In this position she was responsible for the security programs on contracts as diverse as torpedoes for the Israeli and US Navies, aerostats for US Customs and the Government of Kuwait, and a joint US-UK Airship program for the US Navy.
Ms. Tomaselli joined the company’s Marine Systems operations in Sunnyvale California in 1989 as their manager of Security and also served as the west coast coordinator for the corporation’s security efforts. She was appointed to her present position in August of 1998.

Ms. Tomaselli earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1981and a master’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University in 1996. She holds the designation of Certified Protection Professional from ASIS International since 1998 and serves as a government-appointed industry representative of the National Industrial Security Program’s Policy Advisory Committee as well as the DoD’s Critical Infrastructure Protection Implementation Staff.
